The 2020 Gala was held virtually as a result of Covid-19 in benefit of Hearts For Emma. Hearts for Emma is a volunteer-run, 501c(3) nonprofit organization based in Cranford, New Jersey, which operates a Bedside Support program for families with infants, children, and adolescents with heart disease while they are in the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and Neonatal Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at New York-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Hearts for Emma also engages in education and advocacy and collaborated with New Jersey Sharing Network to develop educational materials to teach teens in health and driver's education classes about the importance of organ and tissue donation.
